October 2017 Goals

It’s hard to believe it’s already October. I swear I was still writing August for more than the first half of September. Though let’s get real, the 90 degree days throughout the month surely didn’t help. But now it’s October and with each day it’s starting to feel more and more like fall (thank goodness).

I have a lot to look forward to this month and honestly, I am so excited for it! This month’s goals definitely include a few things that are already on the schedule or in the works, but with teacher training starting this month, I’m not looking to totally overwhelm myself. But let’s not jump the gun so first let’s look back on September’s goals and how those went…

1 – Run a race
2 – Do a Whole 30 Well, I started it!
3 – Travel somewhere I went to Nebraska for Amanda’s wedding shower
4 – Grow Instagram to 1800
5 – Get ahead on blogging

Now, let’s move on to my goals for October:

1 – Host a giveaway on blog or Instagram
2 – Finish my Whole 30
3 – Step outside my comfort zone
5 – Get ahead on blogging

Are you setting goals for October? What are you working on?

  1. Oh man, I can’t believe it’s October. Everyone is writing about their October goals and I’m in denial that September is over. I guess I should think of some goals. I’m excited to read about how you step outside your comfort zone. One goal I have is to plan out my blog posts ahead of time.

  2. Man that weather was brutal was it not? We had those sweltering days too. It’s supposed to chill out a bit this week. But super strange for this time of year.
I hope that this month is good to you!

  3. LOVE your goals for October and am wishing you all the best! hoping to publish mine this Wednesday. I feel like September kind of kicked my arse in a way, BUT I’m super pumped to get this month going on a good start. I’d love to hear more about your Insta giveaway and how that shapes up for you!

Here’s to a great October! XOXO

  4. I also cannot believe we are in October.
Stepping outside your comfort zone is an interesting goal (I might put it down as one of mine in November) 🙂

  5. Seriously, where in the heck did September go?

I would love to get ahead on blogging. Please let me know if you figure out the trick to doing that because I definitely haven’t!! Good luck with your goals!

    1. I hate to say it but for me it was mono. LOL! It’s not actually funny but I was forced to basically quarantine myself from everyone and so I wrote or took notes for posts that I could easily write later. I guess that was the upside of my getting sick. ha!
