What a March, huh? There were a lot of ups and downs and while that’s something we call LIFE, I am hopeful that April will even out a bit, help me feel a return to normal and forward movement, and a lot of fun with some amazing people.
As I like to do, I’m setting some new goals for the month ahead, some fun, some lofty, but all still attainable with a lot of focus and hard work. But before we get onto my goals for April, let’s take a look back at my goals from March and see how I did:
Officially complete my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training programCheck!! I am officially a 200 hour registered yoga teacher. Read 4 books (hoping a few of these will at least be physical books, not just audio)Check! Mostly audio but I did finish one of my yoga history books. Get hired to teach yoga at a studioCheck! We’ll be working out a new schedule to begin teaching in May! Grow blog and social media accountsIsh? There’s still work to do. Clean out closets / declutter (spring cleaning anyone?)I went through my closet and dresser drawers in my bedroom and found a bunch of stuff to donate and attempt to sell at Plato’s Closet. I still feel like I have more than I need but it was nice to get rid of some things. I’ll likely do this again in a month or two. Do 10 push-ups every dayCheck! I will admit that I forgot a few days here and there but I would always make up for it so I was still getting them in, even if it was a day or two later. I really enjoyed having a fitness challenge so I am going to do another this month if anyone wants to join!
Now onto my goals for April and what I’m planning to work on…
- Get a job
- Read 2 books
- Complete a daily burpee challenge (10/day)
- More fruits & veggies, less granola, sweets & unnecessary carb-y foods
What are some of your goals for April?
